About the Position:
We are looking for a Part Logistics Specialist: Packaging Standards Engineer to join the SCM Green Technology Systems team, reporting directly to the SCM Manager.
This position is based at our office in San Francisco de los Romo, Aguascalientes.
As the Part Logistics Specialist: Packaging Standards Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient packaging solutions that meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Your Responsibilities will be:

Design and Development: Develop packaging solutions that protect parts and components during transit and storage while optimizing space and materials used.

Standards Compliance: Ensure that all packaging designs meet industry standards, environmental regulations, and customer requirements.

Testing and Validation: Conduct tests to validate the durability and effectiveness of packaging under various conditions and refine designs based on results.

Material Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate materials that provide the desired protection and sustainability, considering cost-effectiveness.

Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve packaging processes and efficiencies, reducing waste and costs.

Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed specifications and documentation for all packaging standards and protocols.

Supplier Coordination: Work with packaging suppliers to develop innovative solutions and ensure the consistent quality of packaging materials and services.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to propose improvements and innovations in packaging design and processes.

Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to engineering and production teams regarding packaging standards and procedures.
