About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Product Quality Senior Specialist (GS)  to join the Quality GTS team, reporting directly to the QA Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in San Francisco plant, Aguascalientes city.
 

As the Product Quality Senior Specialist (GS) at Marelli, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the standards of production and service within an organization like Marelli. 

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Leadership and Oversight:

    • Lead and mentor a team of quality control inspectors and technicians, ensuring high performance and alignment with company standards.
    • Coordinate and manage the quality control process across production lines.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance processes and systems to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections of processes and products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify areas for process improvement and work collaboratively to implement effective solutions.
    • Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Problem-solving:

    • Address and resolve quality issues promptly, implementing corrective and preventive measures.
    • Facilitate problem-solving sessions to address quality-related challenges.
  • Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality assurance activities, including reports, action plans, and compliance records.
    • Report quality metrics and progress to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Compliance and Standards:

    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements specific to Marelli’s products and services.
    • Stay updated with changes in regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work in collaboration with other departments such as production, engineering, and customer service to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Training and Development:

    • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness and competency across the team.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Strong background in quality management
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Leadership capability
  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulatory requirements 

Other skills that we would welcome:

 

  • Experience in the automotive industry or similar manufacturing environments 
  • Higher education (Engineering)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in same rol
