About the Position:
We are looking for a project manager to join the project management GT team, reporting directly to the program Manager.
This position is based at our office in San Francisco Plant, Aguascalientes city.
As the project manager at Marelli, you will be responsible to lead and oversee cross-functional project teams through the entire lifecycle of automotive or manufacturing projects, ensuring timely and successful achievement of objectives related to quality, cost, and delivery, while complying with Marelli’s standards and customer requirements.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Develop, execute, and monitor comprehensive project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, risks, and budget.
- Lead project teams, coordinating activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other departments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external customers regarding project status, issues, and expectations.
- Identify project risks and opportunities; implement mitigation strategies and solutions.
- Track project progress using appropriate tools and methodologies; report regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to Marelli processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate project meetings, reviews, and decision-making forums.
- Drive problem resolution and manage change requests, scope modifications, and customer feedback.
- Prepare and deliver detailed project documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Support growth of project management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years’ proven experience in project management, ideally in automotive or industrial manufacturing.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) and digital PM tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.).
- Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
