About the Position:
We are looking for a Customer/Field Quality - Exhaust to join the Green Technologies Quality team, reporting directly to the Quality Manager.
This position is based at our office in Shelbyville, TN.
As the Customer/Field Quality - Exhaust at Marelli, you will kick off your career all while leading your team to excellence and quality.
Your Responsibilities will be:

- Initiate, organize, and manage problem solving for areas of responsibility to ensure product quality.
- Manage and communicate customer contact information for resolution to customer concerns and ensure expectations are met in a timely manner.
- Evaluate supplier issues and recommend solutions to resolve manufacturing problems.
- Develops, organizes, controls, and maintain quality documents for company Quality system.
- Develop, organize, and train operators in acceptance criteria of product during launch of new products.
- Plan and execute PPAP requirements for customer approvals.
- Initiate, participate, and manage process audit activity in order to achieve goals and assure assembly processes have adequate controls to meet customer expectations.
- Evaluate and contribute to the implementation of VA/VE items.
- Work directly with customers for approval and Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Manufacturing to develop and launch new products and implement design changes to existing products.
- Submit production parts for customer approval, PPAP process.
- Develop control standards for manufacturing to attain quality requirements.
- Customer support at J/C activities, trial builds, and SOP launch.
- Project development tracking for customer and internal use.
- Plan and take leadership roles in J/C activities.
- Approve PPAP submitted to Marelli by suppliers.
- Communicate frequently with internal and external contacts on various issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What Qualifications you will bring:

- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline and generally four (4) to seven (7) years experience in related field
-or-
- A Master’s Degree and three (3) to six (6) years experience in related field.
- Certification is required in some areas.
- CQE and CQA certification preferred.
- Have experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications.
- Have strong communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs.
- Have skills in math/statistics, problem-solving, project management, and teamwork.
- Ability to pass all background checks and pre-employment tests, including any required drug test.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters.

Intermediate to advanced experience (beyond basic data entry) working with computer applications such as Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint, and other presentation applications and/or software.
