About the Position:
We are looking for a Country Finance Manager to join the Finance Industrial & Corporate Function team, reporting directly to the Regional Country Financial Manager.
This position is based at our office in Sosnowiec.
As the Country Finance Manager at Marelli, you will be responsible:
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Ensure the correct recording of all the administrative facts as well as correct filing of documents and ledgers in compliance with the civil and revenue laws.
- Ensure the preparation of the end of year Financial Statement based on Local GAAP for Polish and Italian Entities for Polish and Italian entities. Including writing notes according to local accounting standards.
- Coordinate ad hoc project and take lead on accounting/finance matters including the IFRS transaction from local GAAP.
- Guarantee accurate bookkeeping provided by the services provider.
- Provide periodical (estimated and final) reports, such as statements of accounts, financial statements, statements of assets and liabilities and the balance sheet, ensuring an appropriate flow of information also for the "consolidated Financial Statement” and for the Statutory Financial Statement.
- Control the correct recording of all the administrative facts as well as correct filing of documents and ledgers in compliance with the civil and revenue laws.
- Maintains relations with external auditors and communicates their local findings and recommendations to the appropriate organization for remediation.
- Ensure the Pre-calculation of best estimate CIT - assessing what will be temporary differences, tax deductible/nondeductible items.
- Calculation of deferred tax asset or liability - assessing of permanent or temporary tax differences.
- Coordinate the Tax control with support of the central functions.
- Support for administrative matters in the Country.
- Support the various Finance BUs operating in the Country in defining and designing the necessary controls aimed to improve the existing control environment over the financial reporting.
- Provide oversight and assistance for the implementation and on-going maintenance of the tools running Manual Journal Entries and Account Reconciliations, if any, ensuring that the processes comply with good control practices.
- Cooperate for the proposal and implementation of Marelli Finance policies and procedures.
- Support Head Office in monitoring the used of the SAP Kernel Chart of Accounts in the Country.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline. Advanced degrees or professional certifications) e.g.: CPA, ACCA) are strongly preferred.

Minimum experience: 12 years with extensive experience in international Group with In- depth financial expertise in accounting, with a deep understanding of international financial regulations, accounting standards (including IFRS), and local GAAP. Country specific reporting standards and governance experience is an advantage.
- Remarkable proficiency in advanced SAP ERP systems, financial reporting tools, Microsoft Excel, and other Office Suite applications. A thorough understanding of financial consolidation tools and management reporting platforms is essential

- Exceptional analytical skills for dissecting complex financial data, complemented by stellar communication abilities, to demystify and disseminate financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Fluent in both spoken and written Polish and English; a good knowledge of Italian is required.
