About the Position:
We are looking for a Logistics Manager to join the logistics team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
This position is based at our office in Sosnowiec.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Supervision of internal and external warehouses
- Responsibility for overseeing, ensuring proper operation, and improving the subordinate process
- Maintaining proper circulation of warehouse documentation
- Supervising the accuracy of warehouse inventories
- Ensuring effective flow and continuity of logistics processes
- Control of orders and the timeliness and quality of supplier component deliveries
- Monitoring and reporting key logistics indicators and taking corrective actions
- Supervising the timely execution of customer orders
- Organization of the logistics department's work and control of departmental costs
- Optimizing stock levels while considering safety stock and maintaining production continuity
- Negotiating with suppliers and enforcing deliveries through the proper logistics pathway
- Developing suppliers together with the purchasing department
- Implementing strategic business and investment projects in the Supply Chain area
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Higher education – preferably in a relevant field: logistics management / production management and engineering / logistics
- 5 years of professional experience in the area of Supply Chain Management (SCM), including at least 2 years in a managerial position within the automotive industry
- English language proficiency at min. B2 level (spoken and written)
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office suite
- Proficiency in operating Power BI
- Specialized knowledge in supply chain management
