About the Position:
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join the Quality team, reporting directly to the Project Development Quality Manager.
This position is based at our office in Sosnowiec, Poland.
Your Responsibilities will be:
• you will prepare data (samples, standards, instructions, measurements, tests, analyses) for all stages of project development from the official nomination phase to the time of transferring the project to series production
• you will agree with the customer quality control documentation, reference/limit samples, design of measurement bases, measurement methods and tests during the introduction of a new product
• you will participate in determining homologation and legal requirements (CCC, D, TLD) with the customer
• you will participate in the implementation of the process of solving quality problems in the pre-series phase, organize and participate in meetings with the working group established to clarify the problem and create 8D & PDCA reports
• you will participate in the approval process of new products/processes, including modifications
• you will perform internal calibration of components and approve PPAP documentation.
• you will create and approve PPAP documentation with the Client within the specified time (ISIR, Control plan for the prototype, trial and serial phase; PFMEA, MSA, SPC)
• you will conduct internal process audits according to VDA 6.3 and participate in Run&Rate for new launches according to the annual schedule. You will also supervise corrective and preventive actions in the scope of quality requirements.
• you will conduct training for employees in the scope of quality standards and quality procedures applicable at the workplace in the case of new launches.
• you will initiate corrective and preventive actions in the case of defects found in finished products and their components.
• you will participate in design, quality, production meetings, including DIM, QRQC, Kaizen, presentations of parts at the Client (Cubing/Mappex)
What Qualifications you will bring:
- minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in the quality department
- fluent English at communicative level
- master degree in engineering
- knowledge of PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA
- knowledge of problem-solving techniques (Fishbone, 5 Why, 8D, PDCA)
- knowledge of measurement and testing methods and techniques
- ability to read and good knowledge of technical drawings
- willingness to business trips
Other skills that we would welcome:
• experience in plastics processing
• knowledge of the requirements and practical application of IATF 16949
• knowledge of German and/or French (B1/B2)
