About the Position:
We are looking for a Project Engineer to join the Mechanical Design team, reporting directly to the Department Manager
This position is based at our office in Sosnowiec
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Coordinating the design team in the mechanical department and controlling the schedule for product development
- Preparation and updating of BOM/WPK
- Verification of correctness of 3D/2D data and technical documentation
- Proposing design solutions
- Technical support in meetings with the client and supplier
- Responsibility for preparing input data for the next phase of development
- Verification and approval of completed tasks using checklists
- Emissions of design changes (including DFMEA review)
Expectations from you in this position:
• Higher technical education with a mechanical profile
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Senior Designer/Constructor, preferably in the implementation of projects for the automotive industry
• Experience in managing projects
• Knowledge of CATIA V5 (knowledge of the Part Design, Assembly Design, Generative Shape Design and Drafting modules)
• Knowledge of design principles for injection molded plastic parts will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of GD&T technical drawing
• Good Knowledge of English
• Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to plan and monitor
• Ability to make quick decisions
• Ability to organize the work of one's own and subordinate teams
• Orientation towards goals and results
