About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Purchasing EMS Commodity- EMEA to join the Purchasing Lighting team, reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager.

 

This position is based at our office in Sosnowiec.
 

As the Purchasing EMS Commodity- EMEA at Marelli, you will be responsible

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Perform costing of local and global LED PCBA and ECU and its purchased parts: PCB, wire harness, plastics, metallics, rubbers, E-comp. as per Marelli costing process. Participation in Design-to-cost during product development and VAVE during mass production.
  • Lead the sourcing of parts above locally and globally for all AL plants as per Marelli Direct Material Sourcing Procedure
  • Monitor Industrialization follow up of sourced parts at supplier, supporting product development on timing, cost samples availability and tools / equipment readiness for a safe launch plan
  • Secure Supply chain preparation in terms of timing, volumes and quality release of all purchased parts. 
  • Responsibility for full lifecycle of LED PCBA commodity - RQA cost estimation - Sourcing of suppliers - Product development phases - Serial production topics - OES - Price list annual negotiations

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • University Engineering degree (Electronic Engineering)
  • Electronic hardware development and design to cost experience
  • Semiconductor and EMS market understanding and creation of negotiating levers
  • Fluent in English (Advanced Degree)

Other skills that we would welcome:

 

  • Technical and commercial experience.
  • Market knowledge of metallics, plastics and wire harness.
  • Team player.
  • IT knowledge (MS Office).
  • International mindset.
