About the Position:
We are looking for a MFE Painting process to join the Manufacturing Engineering, Ride Dynamics team, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
This position is based at our office in Saltillo Plant.
As the MFE Painting process at Marelli, you will be to direct and to oversee all aspects of the engineering process and manufacturing goals and initiatives for Plant development.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Monitoring and improve pretreatment and E- Coat process.
- Manage PFMEA with periodical revisions in preventive way, and every quality event that require a new revision
- Managing strategies to develop projects to reduce scrap rate based on stratification and using MMS tools
- Managing strategies to develop projects to increase OEE based on main loses report and applying job observation on the process to identify opportunities on it
- Managing strategies to develop projects to break the bottlenecks and reduce cycle time on the manufacturing process
- Managing times and movements analysis to apply the right work load balance on operators and optimize the manpower to reduce head count and reduce labor loses.
- Manage layout on the process to optimize it and reduce losses.
- Managing all consumables time life to find the way to overlast the working life and reduce cost of manufacturing.
- To define critical spare parts on the process under its responsibility.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Education (school / specialization): Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering
- Languages levels: English Knowlege minimun 80%

- Knowledge in electrophoretic coating (E-COAT / KTL)painting process incluiding pretreatment (zinc phosphate, zirconium), electrodeposition bath, post-rinses and final oven.
- Knowledge to reduce waste in production through problem solving and improvement activities of existing processes, equipment and machinery
- Knowledge on times and movements analisys, bottle neck identification.
- Knowledge in new technologies, automation, poka-yokes design.
- Knowledge to launch and execute new processes set-up and new projects start-ups and to define and lead standardization and optimization programs for existing processes
