About the Position:
We are looking for a Logistics/Follower Engineer to join the Logistics Ride Dynamics team, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager.
This position is based at our office in Derramadero.
As the Logistics/Follower Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible design, analyze, manage solutions for: logistics supplies, warehousing, inventory management, logistics processes and work instructions, costs, manpower, routing and lines supply, packaging, logistics infrastructure to guarantee the conservation of the product, correct flow of the materials and manpower seeking to optimize costs for the company. In addition the logistics engineer will support to follow up the materials needed for production in a cost efficient way and keeping optimal inventory levels.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Design and plan the internal flows of material and streamlining workflows, reducing waste, to generate the maximum logistical savings.
- Perform logistics work measurement to propose improvements.
- Purchage of logistics supllies (Seal, Labels, Gas, Mobile equipment) and packaking material.
- PFEP maintenance/ optimization.
- Manage returnble containers, carts and racks fleet.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Degree (preferably Logistics or related).
- SAP domain.
- English - fluent.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position.
