About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Plant Quality Manager to join the Marelli Ride Dynamics team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Derramadero, Saltillo, Coahuila.
 

As the Quality Manager at Marelli, you will be responsible of:

Define how to ensure the Quality objectives of Zero defects thru the "Quality System" according ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 through all Business Processes (Management Processes, Principle Processes, Support Processes), monitor compliance with Customer Specific Requirements, and their Continues Improvenment,  report Quality KPI. 

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Develop the Quality Job Descriptions
    • Organize Quality Department
    • Communication among Quality function (Town hall meetings, sharing strategy, culture and initiatives)
    • Comunication to all Suspension Saltillo employees (Quality forum, training to enhance Quality Mindset)
    • QMS maintenance (QM document arquitecture, QM committe planning & Management)
    • Review and implement Global Procedures and guidelines 
    • Periodical revision of KPI's 
    • Promote and support the use of common tools and methodologies for the analysis and management of relevant data
    • Review and communicate the Quality KPI's (Customer, delivery, field, Non Conformance Cost, Warranty, sorting)
    • Monitor and control the Quality Budget 
    • Support activities to control and monitor Critical issues as deviations, risk and recovery plans.
    • Support the Coordination of the Management review based on IATF requirement
    • Assure the global skill development (planing, training, etc) of Quality related topics.
    • Assure and promote the full Quality integration with MMS
    • Ensure products compliance with Marelli Quality standards carrying out functional tests and Audits
    • Define and review standard Marelli Projects Mnagement process with PMO for Preventive Quality Approach and Continues Improvenment
    • Quality control on production processes, through the analysis on equipment capacity, wastes, planned maintenance, control plans
