About the Position:
🔍We are looking for a Global Product Cybersecurity Leader to join the Marelli DigITal team, reporting directly to the Global CISO.
📍 This position is based at our office in Southfield, Michigan.
As the Global Product Cybersecruity Leader at Marelli, you will be responsible for leading our efforts in securing Marelli’s products lifecycle. This role encompasses management of cryptographic key systems, digital identity solutions, product vulnerability management, and security incident response, ensuring robust protection throughout the product lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Define and oversee key management procedures, manage Product Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and manufacturing infrastructure for management of cryptographic key and digital identity or Marelli products.
- Lead the Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT), coordinating effective responses to security incidents and conducting thorough vulnerability assessments.
- Define and oversee processes and tools related to product vulnerability monitoring, incident management, and threat intelligence, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with industry standards.
- Support Marelli Divisions in developing, implementing, and monitoring processes in accordance with ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155, and other local regulations, enhancing the overall cybersecurity posture.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including OEM partners and the Auto-ISAC community, to incorporate cybersecurity measures throughout the product and vehicle lifecycle.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of growth, learning, and innovation.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to a range of stakeholders, including senior management.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Engineering or STEM master’s degree, with a strong foundation in software and systems engineering preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in cryptographic key management, PKI, and cybersecurity practices within the automotive sector.
- Significant experience in vulnerability management, including identifying, assessing, and prioritizing product vulnerabilities and coordinating mitigation strategies.
- Proven track record managing incident response processes to protect product integrity, with a focus on rapid identification, containment, and remediation of cybersecurity incidents.
- Proven leadership capabilities with at least two years of managerial experience.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at presenting information to varied audiences, including executive-level stakeholders.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Extensive experience with penetration testing, cybersecurity assessments, and establishing processes in line with ISO/SAE 21434.
- Auto-ISAC CASE certification, or similar embedded security or automotive certification a plus
Expectations from you in this position:
- Coordinate and oversee continuous vulnerability assessment processes, ensuring timely identification and resolution of security weaknesses in products.
- Develop and refine incident response strategies, enhancing the team's ability to respond swiftly and efficiently to product security incidents.
- Manage and coordinate the key management infrastructures, ensuring robust processes and systems are in place to support cryptographic and digital identity requirements.
- Interact with stakeholders to co-design optimal key management solutions that satisfy customer requirements and align with Marelli's cybersecurity objectives.
- Oversee key management specialists in the implementation of solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and management during cybersecurity crises.
