About the Position:
We are looking for a Junior HR Generalist to join the Marelli team.
The Junior HR Generalist will support the HR department in implementing HR strategies that enhance the organization's culture and employee experience. This entry-level role provides hands-on, practical exposure to various HR functions, offering a foundational step for a career in human resources. This position is based at our office in Southfield, MI.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR team.
- Help with the recruitment and selection process, including posting job advertisements, coordinating interviews, and managing candidate communications.
- Participate in onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a smooth integration into the company.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Respond to basic inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Support the implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
- Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Eager to learn and start a career in human resources, with no prior work experience required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn HRIS systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to tackling tasks and challenges.
