About the Position:

The Sr. Hardware Engineer leads the design, development, validation, and support of electrical hardware solutions for automotive products and systems. This role involves driving innovation, providing technical expertise, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, high-performance hardware that meets customer and industry requirements.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Lead the design, development, and integration of advanced electronic hardware (such as power modules, control units, sensors, embedded systems, etc.).
- Define technical requirements and specifications based on customer and internal inputs.
- Oversee hardware architecture development, schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and technical troubleshooting.
- Guide the validation and verification processes, including lab testing and support for EMC, environmental, and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure seamless product integration.
- Interface with suppliers and customers to address technical issues and support project milestones.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, sharing expertise and promoting knowledge transfer.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to hardware development processes and quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory requirements.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware design and development, preferably within the automotive sector.
- Expertise in schematic design, PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, Mentor Graphics, Cadence), and relevant simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of automotive standards and requirements (AEC-Q100/101, ISO 26262, EMC, etc.).
- Proven experience with hardware validation, testing methodologies, and failure analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages and international experience a plus.
