About the Position:

We are looking for an experienced System Architecture Leader (SAL) / System Lead who will lead the System Architecture and System Requirements Team and activities for a specific product like Automotive Displays, P-HUDs . His/her mission is to manage for a specific Project the Customer Requirements elicitation, System Requirements engineering and System Architectural Design processes. Also, he/she will be actively involved in benchmarking studies, market trends for Hardware and Software architecture in Automotive industry.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • As part of the Offer Team, contribute to the early definition of the product during the offer phase, in order to make a proper evaluation of the Hardware/Software perimeter, related development and related cost. Coordinate the generation of the Technical Dossier for the offer.
  • During project execution, Coordinate and lead all System Architecture and System Requirements engineering activities.
  • Manage the planning of the System Architecture and System Requirements teams, being accountable in front of the customer for the related deliverables
  • Establish and follow-up proper indicators in order to monitor the Teams activity
  • Guarantee Standard Processes and Tools application on the project
  • Coordinate the system functional repartition between Mechanics, Optics, HW and SW
  • Provide technical governance in the System Architecture and System Requirements teams about different implementation proposals
  • Support Customer and development team during the stakeholders’ requirements elicitation and Change Request processes
  • Depending on the size of the project, in addition to his/her SAL specific role, he/she can also take over activities assigned to SRE or SA roles
  • Participate when requested to the meetings with the customer supporting the Project Manager and the Technical Project Leader on technical discussion
  • Support, through his/her team, the development teams during quality and performance convergence phases
  • Ensure the verification of System Requirements and System Architecture including system interfaces
  • Based on project needs act as Change Manager ensure CRs follow defined workflow and implementation plan.
  • Leading ASPICE/internal audits from Systems domain for SYS-1, SYS-2 & SYS-3
  • Communicate architecture decisions effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Represent system in technical reviews and workshops with customers and partners.
  • Build confidence by ensuring transparency and technical rigor.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of embedded product development experience in automotive ECU programs.
  • In-dept knowledge of type of Displays (LCD, TFT, OLED), Backlight techniques (Edge-lit, Local dimming/FALD), TCON, LED drivers, Serializer/De-serializers, other optical specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded C/C++, RTOS, and microcontroller-based development.
  • Experience on Operating Systems (OSEK, AUTOSAR)
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, Ethernet, UDS, LVDS).
  • Knowledge of software development standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262).
  • Requirements elicitation and engineering methodologies and tools (Doors)
  • Prior experience on Architecture modeling methodologies and tools (Enterprise Architect and Simulink tools, UML and SYSML languages) is required.
  • Automotive industrialization rules & manufacturing processes (End Of line, product calibrations)
  • Requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS)
  • Knowledge of Automotive technical, environmental and homologation standards (JASO, ISO, ECE, etc.)
  • Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence tools)
  • Analytic tools (APIS IQ) and methodologies (e.g. FMEA, FTA)
  • Quality System knowledge
  • Project Planning, Monitoring & Control

Other skills that we would welcome:

  • Prior experience as System/Technical Leader automotive for the overall life cycle (from RFQ phase to Production follow up).
  • Exposure to multiple ECU domains (Body Control, Infotainment, Displays, HUDs, Instrument Cluster, ADAS, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Prior experience working with OEMs like Stellantis, Nissan, GM, Ford, VW, BMW, etc
