About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Product Engineer - Hardware to join the Electronic Systems North America Product Engineering team, reporting directly to the Product Engineering Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Mexico (Tepotzotlán or Aguascalientes).
 

As the Product Engineer - Hardware at Marelli, you will focus on the design, development, and validation of hardware components and systems. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure our products meet performance, quality, and reliability standards.

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Hardware Design: Develop hardware solutions for electronic products, including circuit design, component selection, and schematic capture.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware components to ensure they meet design specifications and performance criteria.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with software, mechanical, and system engineers to ensure the successful integration of hardware components..
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation, including design specifications, test protocols, and reports to support product development and compliance requirements.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in hardware design and development, preferably within the electronic systems or automotive sector.
  • Strong skills in using hardware design tools, with experience in PCB layout and circuit simulation.

Other skills that we would welcome:

 

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a capability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to effectively convey complex technical information.
