About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Product Quality Senior Specialist to join the Quality team/ Function] team, reporting directly to the Quality Coordinator.
 

This position is based at our office in Tepotzotlan, México.
 

As the Product Quality Senior Specialist at Marelli, you will be is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our automotive lighting products. The role involves implementing and managing quality assurance processes, working closely with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction. 

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Implement and oversee quality management systems to comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Ensure all products meet internal and external quality benchmarks.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities within product development and manufacturing processes. Lead initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations into quality issues, utilizing root cause analysis techniques to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure the consistency of quality in raw materials and components. Conduct regular audits and foster strong supplier relationships.

  • Customer Interface: Act as a liaison between the company and customers for quality-related inquiries and issues. Work to enhance customer satisfaction through timely problem resolution.

  • Training and Mentorship: Guide and train junior quality team members. Promote a culture of quality awareness throughout the division.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather and analyze quality data, preparing detailed reports and presentations for management. Use metrics to highlight trends and propose solutions

 

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of [X] years’ experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards, such as ISO/TS 16949.
  • Proficient in problem-solving techniques and quality tools like Six Sigma, FMEA, etc.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence across multiple departments.

  6. Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment to drive quality improvements.

  8. Conflict Resolution: Skilled in addressing and resolving conflicts that may arise internally or with suppliers and customers, maintaining professional relationships.
