About the Position:
We are looking for a Production Coordinador to join the Manufacturing Lightinh team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
This position is based at our office in Tepotzotlán, México.
As the Production Coordinador at Marelli, you will be responsible to ensure smooth and efficient coordination of production activities at the lighting plant, supporting the delivery of high-quality products on time and in line with Marelli’s standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Your Responsibilities will be:

Production Planning and Scheduling:
Collaborate with production planners and supervisors to prepare daily and weekly production schedules to meet order deadlines and customer requirements. -
Workflow Coordination:
Monitor production lines, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to maintain optimal workflow. -
Material Management:
Ensure timely availability of materials and components by liaising with procurement and warehouse teams. Track inventory and report shortages. -
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap, downtime, and other KPIs. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review. -
Quality Assurance:
Work closely with quality control teams to uphold product standards and promptly address deviations, ensuring compliance with Marelli’s quality protocols. -
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in root cause analysis for production issues and support initiatives for process improvements, waste reduction, and efficiency gains. -
Safety and Compliance:
Promote plant safety and ensure adherence to Marelli’s EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies and procedures. -
Team Coordination:
Support training and coordination of production teams, fostering engagement, collaboration, and a culture of continuous learning.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a production coordination or supervisory role within manufacturing (automotive or lighting plant experience a plus).
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality systems.
- Proficiency with production planning software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Accurate Documentation & Reporting
Maintain precise and timely production records. Prepare and submit reports (production output, downtime, issues, improvements) as required. -

Assist with training, provide daily support, and foster a positive working environment where team members feel valued and engaged. -
Adaptability
Respond effectively to changing production priorities, new technologies, or process updates. Maintain composure under pressure and embrace Marelli’s culture of change and innovation. -
