About the position:
We are looking for a Tool Maker Supervisor to join the molding team, reporting directly to the Tool Room Manager.
This position is based at our office in Toluca.
As the ToolMaker Supervisor at Marelli, you will be responsible for Lead and supervise the work of technicians for the design, manufacturing, maintenance, and repair of tools and dies used in production processes.
Your Responsibilities will be:
Lead and manage the team of toolmakers by planning and assigning tasks to ensure the achievement of production and quality objectives.
Provide continuous feedback and foster the development of technical staff.
Plan and oversee projects related to the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of tools and dies, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime of machines and tools.
Ensure all tools and dies meet specified quality standards by conducting regular inspections and performance tests. Identify opportunities for improvement in manufacturing and maintenance processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
What Qualifications you will bring:
Solid experience in the design, manufacturing, maintenance, and repair of tools and dies.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design specifications. Knowledge in the use of machinery and tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Ability to lead and motivate a team, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Capacity to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Strong understanding of quality standards, such as ISO, and applicable safety regulations.
Experience in managing projects related to tool production, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
