About the Position:
We are looking for a Testing Methodology Designer to join the Electronics-Product Evaluation-Test Methods & Tools team.
This position is based at our office in Torino.
As Testing Methodology Designer at Marelli, you will define and develop testing methodologies targeted to production line for an assigned product, write test prescrpitions (HW & SW), evaluate test coverage, develops test sequences for prototypes and production test and contribute to production test benches validation.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Test methodology design of the assigned product
- Desing functional test and programming procedure
- Define "Design for testability" requirements and monitor their implementation
- Participate to product design reviews and team meetings
- Support the Test Engineering leader in testing strategy definition and standardization of technical solutions
- Test prescription writing
- Write HW & SW functional test prescription applied to different test phases (Pre-functional / EOL / Flashing)
- Cooperate with Test SW designer to define EOL test SW functions
- Keep specification updated following product evolution and process finetuning
- Test coverage evaluation
- Conduct deep study of functional test coverage
- Execute preliminary global coverage evaluation to highlight necessary product / process improvement
- Release final test coverage document including real data coming from production line (RCL, AOI, X-RAY)
- Functional test sequences development
- Develop functional test and flashing sequences for prototypes and production
- Support suppliers when test sequence development is done externally
- Validate embedded EOL SW in cooperation with Test SW designer.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (electronical / telecommunications preferred) or other technical disciplines
- English fluent
- > 3 years experience in electronics testing development (R&D or manufacturing). Automotive is a plus
- Good knowledge of MS Office suites

- Good knowledge of Electronic testing methodology and measurements techniques for analog, High speed digital signal, RF and vision test.
- Good level of programming in Labview & Teststand (NI™ ) environments.
- Knowledge on automotive communication protocols as for ex. CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet
- Basic knowledge of testing applied to electronics production line (RCL, AOI, AXI, ICT, OBP, EOL, ...)
