About the Position:

 

We are looking for a DigITal Enterprise Architect and Data Platform Lead to join the DigITal team, reporting directly to the Data Management Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Trnava.
 

As the DigITal Enterprise Architect and Data Platform Lead at Marelli, you will be responsible:

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Develop the organization’s Enterprise Data Architecture strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Define and implement an Enterprise Data Governance framework, including policies for data ownership, stewardship, and access control.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to design and maintain a data catalogue, ensuring metadata management and data lineage tracking.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance data quality, consistency, and usability across the enterprise.
  • For key services / integrations across multiple systems, set up and coordinate changes / deployments end-to-end with all relevant stakeholders to ensure continuity and avoid business as usual disruption.
  • Youwill also have the opportunity to drive towards a standard deployment cycle.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, advising senior leadership on opportunities to optimize technology and data assets.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to drive alignment between overall IT strategy, the data strategy and related initiatives.
  • Advocate for change management and communicate the value of simplification and governance initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Utilize data modelling tools (e.g., Erwin, Enterprise Architect) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) for modern architecture development….
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in enterprise architecture, data governance, and
  • Learn and adapt to the organization’s custom-built Enterprise Service Bus and Data Flow Engine to ensure effective integration with the rationalization program.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, PMP, DAMA-CDMP, Azure Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, enterprise architecture, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of leadership or senior-level experience in data architecture, data governance, or enterprise architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale enterprise initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Experience in data governance and enterprise data architecture.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and custom enterprise middleware solutions.
  • Competence in database management, both SQL and NoSQL.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
