About the Position:
We are looking for a GBS Senior Purchasing Specialist with Italian language to join the Purchasing team, reporting directly to the GBS Purchasing Team Leader.
This position is based at our office in Trnava.
As the GBS Senior Purchasing Specialist at Marelli, you will be responsible:
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Timely and thorough processing of supplier master data management (creation/changes).
- Timely and thorough processing of material master data management (creation/changes).
- Manage the running of the purchase order processing cycle for both indirect and direct business.
- RFQ support activities in accordance with applicable guidelines and in accordance with BU/commodities.
- Monitor vendor performance and generate relevant metrics and reports.
- Liaise with the finance department for any issues related to PO discrepancies or any other finance department related issues.
- Collaborate with departments, plants, commodity buyer on all related purchasing support activities as identified within the GBS scope.
- AoB related to the area within the defined scope.
- Coaching team members in achieving goals and developing necessary skills.
- Developing team strengths and improving weaknesses, leading team members.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- A university degree in a Business or adequate professional experience.
- Fluent English is required, another language is an advantage.
- 7+ years of experience in an SSC environment, procurement experience is welcomed.
- ERP experience is essential (SAP preferred).
