About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Global Process Owner RTR to join the Finance team, reporting directly to the Vice President Finance Global Business Services.

This position is based at our office in Trnava.
The Global Process Owner (GPO) for the record-to-report (RTR) process will lead and own the strategic direction, design, and continuous improvement of the RTR process on a global scale. This role involves driving standardization, efficiency, and optimization across regions, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and financial reporting standards. The GPO will work cross-functionally with finance teams, IT, and key business stakeholders to implement best practices and lead initiatives that enhance the end-to-end RTR process.

 

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Driving the execution of the transformation roadmap for the RTR process.
  • Overseeing the delivery of prioritized transformation projects from inception through to successful completion.
  • Operationalizing and establishing a sustainable monitoring framework for project oversight and performance management.
  • Establishing a targeted process vision to guide strategic alignment and transformation.
  • Identifying gaps to the standard process within the business and developing transformation initiatives through detailed process blueprinting.
  • Setting up governance structures to ensure compliance and process integrity.
  • Facilitating required meetings, standardizing decision-making processes, tracking project milestones, managing approved budgets, and integrating transformation projects with other strategic initiatives.
  • Implementing change management practices and regularly reviewing KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive change management strategy, including targeted communication plans, stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, and conducting knowledge transfer sessions, as well as identifying and promoting success stories.
  • Participating in the establishment and ongoing review of KPIs, productivity reports, desktop procedures, training documentation, and flowcharts to ensure the processes remain effective and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Maintains constant awareness of business changes, policies and procedures and impact of these on the process and provides process insights and proposal of new interventions/tools.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • University Degree
  • Min 10 years’ experience of related work experience in Finance, Financial Systems, Analytics and/or business finance positions
  • Experience in designing and transforming large global business processes including deep knowledge, application of industry leading practices & automation technologies. 
  • CPA/ ACCA qualification or Big4 experience.
  • Strong expertise in core Finance competencies
  • Experience working with Shared Service organizations
  • Experience with common finance systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, OneStream)
  • Experience with modern data visualization tools like Tableau, Spotfire
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certification or equivalent quality certification
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of strategic scope and impact
  • Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate local as well as remote and globally dispersed teams: achieving organizational focus on key priorities, providing clear direction, delegating, actively communicating and coaching/mentoring; ability to lead and influence also from a distance in a matrix organization is key.
  • Experience in working in a highly international business environment as well as in highly complex and matrixed organizations. The successful candidate must have demonstrated the ability to achieve results in a complex, multi-functional, multi-geographical environment and matrixed organization thus being highly collaborative
  • Proven ability to represent management e.g. in meetings with Business Executives. An agile, strategic thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Has developed conceptual methods/strategies and implemented them accordingly.
  • Hands-on leadership skills with a pragmatic business-focused approach
