About the Position:
We are looking for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join the Electronics Quality team, reporting directly to the Quality Manager.
This position is based at our office in Tepotzotlan, Mexico.
As the Manufacturing Quality Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our electronic products.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and systems to ensure consistent product quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to address quality concerns.
- Perform regular audits of processes and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal specifications.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality engineering role within the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
- Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving tools like 8D, Six Sigma,Core Tools, or similar methodologies.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Certification such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or similar.
- Experience with electronic manufacturing processes including SMT, PCB assembly, or related fields.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and customer-specific requirements
