About the Position:
We are looking for a North America HR Business Partner - Electronic Systems to join the Electronic Systems Human Resources team, reporting directly to the Electronic Systems HR VP.
This position is based at our office in Mexico (Aguascalientes or Tepotzotlán).
As the North America HR Business Partner - Electronic Systems at Marelli, you will be responsible for acting as a strategic advisor and consultant to management on human resources-related topics across three sites in North America (two Operations plants in Mexico and one Engineering and Product Development hub in Detroit, Michigan).
Your Responsibilities will be:

Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.

Talent Management: Lead initiatives in recruitment, onboarding, career development, and succession planning to ensure that the organization attracts and retains top talent.

Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations issues, providing guidance and conflict resolution strategies to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Performance Management: Drive the performance management process by guiding and coaching managers on best practices for employee evaluations and development plans.

Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives by preparing the workforce through effective communication and training strategies.

Compliance and Policy Implementation: Ensure that all HR practices are in compliance with local laws and regulations, and implement company policies and procedures effectively.

Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform business decisions and strategy development.

Training and Development: Identify training needs and facilitate development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Several years of proven experience in an HR business partner or similar role, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of Labor Laws: Strong understanding of North American labor laws and regulations (both US and Mexico).
- HR Expertise: Solid experience in areas like employee relations, talent management, and performance management. Solid experience in talent acquisition, with hiring a high number of resources in a short timeframe (from manufacturing workers to Sr Manager positions).
- Project Management Skills: Experience in managing or leading HR projects.
- Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in HR analytics and using data to drive decisions.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Advanced Degree: A master's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- HR Certifications: Professional HR certification.
- Industry Experience: Specific experience within electronic systems or technology sectors.
