About the Position:
We are looking for a HR Plant Manager to join the Electronic Systems North America HR team, reporting directly to the North America HR Business Partner.
This position is based at our office in Tepotzotlán, Mexico.
As the HR Plant Manager at Marelli, you will be responsible for overseeing all human resource functions at the plant level. This includes implementing and managing HR policies, programs, and practices that align with the company's strategic objectives. The role involves working closely with plant management to support workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, and compliance with labor laws.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure efficient hiring practices.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Deal with employee grievances and welfare issues promptly and fairly.
- Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Human Resource Management Knowledge: Proficiency in HR principles, practices, and tools.
- Labor Law Knowledge: Strong understanding of local labor laws and regulations relevant to the plant's location, including annual negotiation with unions.
- Recruitment & Talent Management: Proven experience in managing recruitment and developing talent.
- Internal Communication: Proven experience in internal communication and employee engagement initiatives.
- Compensation & Benefits: Proven experience implementing local Compensation & Benefits strategy.
- Training & Development: Proven experience in managing and implementing training plans.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or automotive industry environment.
- 5+ years of previous experience in HR Management positions.
- 3+ years of previous experience in organizations with more than 200 people, with a mix of unionized and non-unionized employees.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Knowledge of SuccessFactors and TRESS HR systems
- HR certifications
- Knowledge of ISO and IATF standards
- Experience with managing organizational changes and transformations.

- Ability to manage HR projects from inception to completion.
