About the Position:
We are looking for a Senior HR Manager to join the HR Interiors team, reporting directly to the Divisional HRBP.
This position is based at our office in UK.
As the Senior HR Manager at Marelli, you will be responsible for working closely with the Marelli UK Directors & Senior Management team, providing strategic advice, guidance and leadership across the Business on all areas of Human Resources.
Manage and provide strategy for the organisation, development, and recruitment ensuring up to date HR policies and procedures that are fully in line with latest legislation.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- To be part of the UK Senior Management team and contribute to the delivery of its overall strategy and objectives.
- Lead all the HR activities for the North East UK sites and related Business Unit in Spain.
- Provide dynamic and effective leadership developing the UK HR team to maximum potential.
- Manage and enhance the process for the development and Training of the companies emerging and High potential Talent.
- The implementation and maintenance of quality assurance protocols and standards in relation to HR.
- Manage the North East HR Budget.
- Work closely with Global HR Team ensuring that new HR processes and systems are rolled out efficiently in UK.
- Promote and develop the Company’s Vision and attributes.
- Overseeing the implementation of recruitment and remuneration practices.
- Responsible for all Company communications Internal and External.
- Develop, quantify, evaluate and monitor an appropriate set of performance indicators for the HR function.
- Provide leadership and guidance on issues relating to the equality and diversity agenda and champion the company’s commitment to equality and diversity.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Worked at Senior HR Level in a multi-site Manufacturing organisation which has adopted many complex changes.
- The vision to put together a clear HR strategy to support the business mid-term plan.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills sufficient to support, advise and influence Senior Managers from different parts of the business.
- Strong knowledge of Employment Law.
- Experience of negotiating with Trade Unions on complex issues.
- Experience in large Business re-structuring including right-sizing, Business merger, TUPE.
- Degree qualified in related subject, MCIPD qualified.
- Proven team player abilities with strong leadership skills including the ability to coach and energise others in open and transparent environment
- The ability to lead change as well as acting as a powerful advocator for those changes.
