About the Position:
We are looking for a Environment, Health and Safety Engineer who will join Environment, Health and Safety team, reporting directly to Environment, Health and Safety Manager; this position is located in Wuhu
As the Environment, Health and Safety Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Ensure implement of EHS related training to improve employee’s mindset, especially for new employee and job transfer employee.
- Implement regular identification and evaluation activities for EHS hazards together with involved production departments, take preventive and proactive actions for Top risks, especially for IMMs, Tooling area, coating lines, warehouse.
- Ensure LOTO implement in all related process, such as maintenance, cleaning, start up,.etc.
- Management for special equipment (crane, forklift, pressure vessel, elevator), ensure all certificates within its validity.
- Implement supervision and work permit management for external third parties, especially for special operation (hot work, work at height).
- Regular inspections for firefighting facilities and ensure they are in good condition.
- Work with production departments, ensure waste collection and storage to meet standards.
- Ensure waste disposal in compliance with regulations, including hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste.
- Collect and analysis EHS data, ensure the data compile in corporate EHS data system and Government data system timely.
- Prepare and coordinate audit activity for ISO14001 and ISO45001.
- Define and choose appropriate PPEs for positions where occupational hazards exist.
- Implement regular occupational hazards identification and monitoring, take related control actions.
- Organize annual occupational health check and feedback the results.
- Organize regular emergency drill based on plant emergency response procedures.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor or above major in Engineering, Safety or Environment related is preferred
- Good command of Oral & Written English
- Over 3 years experiences in Manufacturing Company
- Experience in ISO14001&ISO45001 management
