About the Position:
We are looking for a Supplier Development Engineer to join the Purchasing ,SQA team, reporting directly to the SDE Manager, China
This position is based at our office in Wuhu
As the [Job Title] at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Support R&D, Project Buyer and Development Team in Supplier selection of new buy components from external supplier and all sourcing phases
- Act as “One-voice” towards Suppliers across all involved Divisions
- Ensure supply risk analysis evaluation in the early project phase
- Participate to Technical Analysis and validate suppliers solutions in terms of Quality, Technical/ Process, Capability and Timing; in line with the project team
- Ensure lessons learned application through feasibility commitment and Technical Analysis approval
- Ensure the implementation of Plastic commodity state of the art and best in class standards/practice requirements in supplier processes through the application of Commodity Quality Check List
- Ensure the transmission and implementation of Customer requirements
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Industrial sectors (electrical/electronic engineering, materials engineering, Physics or equivalent, preferable in the area of Plastic components
- Good command of Oral & Written English
