About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Digital Operational Technology Cybersecurity Leader  to join the Cybersecurity, ICT, Marelli GBS team, reporting directly to the Cyber Defence & Compliance.
 

This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes Office.
 

As the Digital Technology Cybersecurity Leader at Marelli, the Global OTCS Leader will be responsible for leading, overseeing and managing the OT cybersecurity program, which includes implementation of security controls and monitoring of cybersecurity in manufacting operations. This involves contribution to elevate company cybersecurity culture in manufacturing plants, support improvement of defense strategies against cyber threats, and incident response capabilities, and define and report cybersecurity KPIs.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • OT Cybersecurity framework. Design, implement, and manage comprehensive OT security strategies, policies, and procedures that align with organisational objectives, industrial standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support technology integration: Scouting, selection, design and implementation of cybersecurity technologies specific to OT systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing DigITal infrastructure while maintaining operational efficiency. Technologies include endpoint antimalware, asset inventory tool, intrusion detection systems, remote assistance.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in OT systems and develop effective mitigation strategies to protect critical assets across projects.
  • Integration with manufacturing operations: Collaborate closely with regional DigITal organization and manufactuing teams to embed robust cybersecurity measures into OT processes and technologies.
  • Security Awareness and Training: Develop training programs and awareness material to cultivate a culture of cybersecurity awareness and compliance.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to relevant industry standards and regulations such as IEC 62443, NIST800, ensuring the security framework meets all necessary requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to enhance the organization's OT security posture continually.
  • Technical Guidance and Documentation: Provide expert cybersecurity advice and produce technical documentation for software architecture, design, and verification plans.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Minimal Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial processes, Cybersecurity, or related field.
     
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience manufacturing sustems and OT environments, with expertise in production equipment and production systems.
  • Technical skills: Strong understanding of industrial control systems and protocols (e.g., SCADA, PLCs). Thorough understanding of OT systems, industrial cybersecurity standards (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST800).

  •  Leadership in OT Security: Provide guidance and expertise to significantly uplift the OT security framework.
  •  Enhanced Cybersecurity Measures: Strengthen manufcatuting plants cyber defenses and incident response capabilities through diligent implementation of technical and organizational OTCS measures.
  •  Risk Reduction: Drive cybersecurity improvements by developing OT cybesecurity program, managing KPIs, conducting assessments, and overseeing internal audits to minimize risks.
