About the Position:
We are looking for a Plant Manager to join the Manufacturing Interior Mexico team, reporting directly to the Operations Director.
This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes - PIVA.
As the Plant Manager at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Lead overall plant performance with full P&L accountability across safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
- Develop plant budgets, investment plans, and strategic business plans to achieve profit and inventory targets.
- Drive new product industrialization in collaboration with launch and development teams, applying PLC 2.0 and PFMEA methodologies.
- Use SIOP processes to forecast customer demand, production volume, product mix, and pre-SOP material requirements.
- Ensure consistent implementation of manufacturing policies and methodologies aligned with Central Operations Management.
- Promote continuous improvement by partnering with engineering teams to enhance operational standards and practices.
- Foster a diverse, inclusive, and engaging workplace focused on employee morale, retention, and talent development.
- Strengthen customer and certification approvals by ensuring high standards of quality, reliability, and compliance.
- Lead safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental protection initiatives in line with legal and ISO 14001 standards.
- Ensure full environmental regulatory compliance while promoting sustainable manufacturing practices.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Experienced Operations Leader with a strong background in manufacturing and the automotive industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 15+ years of progressive operations management experience in manufacturing environments.
- Minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles overseeing complex manufacturing operations.
- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, and ISO 14001 are highly desirable.
- Strong expertise in strategic planning, continuous improvement, problem-solving, and operational excellence.
- Proven ability to lead, communicate, and motivate high-performing teams.
- Experience in budget development, business planning, and efficient decision-making.
