About the Position:
We are looking for a Test Technician to join the Desing Interior team, reporting directly to the Supervisor
This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes PIVA
As the Test Technician at Marelli, high‑performance, highly disciplined Test Technician with strong hands‑on mechanical experience and a proven work ethic. This is a demanding, fast‑paced role supporting the development and validation of interior automotive components such as cockpit modules, consoles, glove boxes, and complex moving mechanisms.

Your Responsibilities will be:
- Execute durability, mechanical, environmental, and functional tests with accuracy and discipline.
- Perform pre‑test assembly, component evaluation, and post‑test teardown/inspection of samples.
- Build and install test fixtures, operate mechanical tools, and configure lab equipment.
- Record test data with complete accuracy, clarity, and attention to detail.
- Maintain sample tracking, equipment usage logs, and organized test documentation.
- Support 5S, safety, and overall lab organization through strong daily habits.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in testing, mechanical assembly, or automotive laboratory work.
- Experience evaluating components, assembling test setups, and handling mechanical parts.
- Ability to use measurement tools and interpret engineering instructions.
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Automotive interior testing experience (plastic parts, moving mechanisms).
- Familiarity with environmental chambers, cycling machines, endurance rigs, and general lab equipment.
- Experience supporting multiple engineering programs under tight timelines.
- Strong mechanical intuition and troubleshooting ability.
