About the Position:
We are looking for an Industrial Engineer to join the EBS Interiors Mexico team, reporting directly to the EBS Supervisor.
This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes.
As the EBS Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....
Your Responsibilities will be:
• Time studies of production processes, line balancing proposals, and improvement initiatives.
• Analysis and definition of plant installed capacity and workforce strategy based on short- and long-term customer volume forecasts.
• Document machinery capacity and direct labor capacity to present the plan to the departments.
• Maintain OEE, cycle time, and personnel information in the ERP system.
• Participate in improvement activities to optimize the process.
• Manage the strategy and plan for production space and machinery utilization in the plant in the short and medium term.
• Manage machinery capacity and required staffing for new projects and mass production.
• Track and analyze productive hours and actual personnel data versus plan.
• Prepare operational process costing, including investments, for quotations for new projects.
• Follow up on events and new project launches versus contract requirements.
What Qualifications you will bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, production planning, industrial engineering, or process improvement roles.
• Knowledge of time studies, line balancing, cycle time analysis, and capacity planning.
• Experience working with ERP systems to maintain production data, OEE, cycle times, and staffing information.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret production data, compare actual performance versus plan, and recommend improvements.
• Understanding of manufacturing cost analysis, labor requirements, machinery utilization, and operational process costing.
• Ability to support new project launches, production ramp-ups, and customer volume forecast analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis tools or reporting dashboards is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and productivity optimization methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present capacity plans and recommendations to cross-functional departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and focused on driving efficiency and operational performance.
