About the Position:
We are looking for a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to join the SC and Logistics Green Technologies team.
This position is based at our office in Amparo, Brazil.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Manage the work team, providing the resources required for material and production planning activities, balancing material inventory and product deliveries through the production scheduling process.
- Ensure compliance with company inventory targets using available data-management resources and tools/methodologies such as Kanban systems, consignment, and JIT.
- Ensure transportation, receipt, and delivery of materials and products; analyze control reports to identify new routes, cargo-volume optimization, packaging improvements, and freight costs.
- Analyze each customer’s receiving requirements according to adopted delivery methods to meet established delivery deadlines.
- Manage the approved logistics budget, analyzing and negotiating all planned projects and expenses.
- Evaluate supplier service levels through the database and implement corrective logistics actions when necessary, ensuring production supply aligns with planning and preventing material shortages.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s TS 16949 quality policy related to logistics.
- Conduct supplier follow-up, supporting planners in actions requiring stronger results.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related fields.
- Solid experience in Logistics and an industrial/manufacturing environment in the automotive industry;
- Experience in people management and team leadership, material planning, production scheduling, suppliers and transportation;
- Knowledge of MRP, Kanban, JIT and inventory management;
- Knowledge of logistics KPIs and cost management;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
- Fluent English proficiency;
- Availability to work 100% on-site at the Amparo plant.

Expectations from you in this position:
- Manage the team and logistics, material planning, and production processes, ensuring adequate inventory levels, continuous supply, and on-time deliveries. Control transportation, receiving, suppliers, costs, and the logistics budget, applying tools such as Kanban, consignment, and JIT. Ensure compliance with the TS 16949 quality policy and support planners in supplier follow-up.
