About the Position:

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join the Plant Manufacturing Engineering, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor.

This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

The Assembly Process Engineer is responsible for developing, improving, and ensuring the efficiency and quality of assembly processes within the manufacturing plant. This role guarantees compliance with standards and requirements, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and supports production and maintenance in problem-solving. The engineer actively participates in creating and disseminating best practices and deploying new technologies.

 

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

- Document and update standard work for all assembly lines.
- Release and validate processes according to project requirements and corporate standards.
- Achieve process KPIs (Scrap, OEE, FTQ, capacity, process cost reductions).
- Create technical specifications for new assembly machinery and upgrades for existing equipment.
- Support production and maintenance, resolving root causes and generating lessons learned.
- Develop parameter sheets and operation sheets for applicable technologies.
- Establish standard work guidelines for all production lines.
- Participate in creation and updates of process CP & FMEA.
- Ensure production meets plant KPIs and stays within established parameters.
- Manage process improvements in accordance with ISO/TS16949 and ISO-14001 standards.
- Collaborate on safety, health, and environmental issues according to ISO 45001.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

-Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry or assembly process experience.
- Proficiency in control systems (PLCs), vision equipment, testing, and EOL equipment.
- Knowledge of automation, process control, statistical process control, electronics, and electrical diagram analysis.
- Experience documenting, developing, and selecting assembly equipment.
- English proficiency: Intermediate-Advanced (reading, writing, speaking 70%).
- Analytical capability, discernment, stress tolerance, positivity, drive, and persistence.
