About the Position:
We are looking for a Key Account Specialist to join the Electronics team, reporting directly to the Sales Sr. Manager.
This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes .
As the Key Account Specialist at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Commercial Management and Negotiation (New Projects)
- Lead RFQ (Request for Quotation) Processes: Coordinate with Marelli’s Engineering and Costing departments to prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals for electronic components.
- Price Negotiation: Defend the value of Marelli's technology and ensure profit margins are maintained despite Nissan’s cost pressures.
- Contract Closing: Formalize sales agreements and ensure that legal and commercial terms are favorable for both parties.
- Financial Administration and Control
- Price List Management: Maintain the price database in the ERP system, ensuring each part number reflects current agreements.
- Cost Recovery: Manage price adjustment requests to Nissan due to cost variations (e.g., raw materials or logistics).
- Billing and Accounts Receivable: Resolve discrepancies in Purchase Orders (POs) to prevent payment delays.
- Planning and strategy (Multitask)
- Sales Forecasting: Develop monthly and annual demand projections for electronics lines, enabling Marelli plants to plan production efficiently.
- Market Analysis: Monitor Nissan’s production volumes to identify risks or growth opportunities for specific vehicle models.
- Lifecycle Monitoring: Manage engineering changes (ECRs) that impact product costs during series production.
- Strategical Relationships and technical support
- Voice of the Customer: Act as the primary liaison between Nissan’s requirements and Marelli’s commercial capabilities.
- Crisis Management: Coordinate rapid responses to supply or quality issues that could jeopardize Nissan’s assembly lines.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing key accounts in the electronics sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both in Spanish and English.
- Proven ability to analyze sales data and develop account strategies.
- Residence in Aguascalientes or willingness to relocate.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Experience: Preferably 2+ years in Tier 1 Sales (Automotive industry preferred).
- Excel: Advanced knowledge (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis).
- English: Fluent (reporting results to Marelli’s global leadership).
- Soft Skills: High negotiation capacity, resilience, and strong technical and commercial organization.
