About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join the Electronics Manufacturing Quality team, reporting directly to the [Job Title’s Manager].
 

This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, México.
 

As the Quality Inspector at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Verify that products, processes, or services comply with established quality standards.

    • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.

    • Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished products.

    • Record inspection results in forms, reports, or internal systems.

    • Identify, report, and follow up on nonconformities.

    • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, standards, and procedures.

    • Support internal quality audits.

    • Release or reject products based on acceptance criteria.

    • Coordinate corrective actions.

    • Keep quality records organized and up to date.

    • Review poka-yokes.

    • Handle nonconforming product.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Technical high school diploma in Quality, Manufacturing Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection of parts.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection of parts.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, statistical process control, internal audits, traceability, industrial safety, and the use of management software or office tools is desirable.

Other skills that we would welcome:

  • Reading and interpretation of drawings, technical specifications, and tolerances.

  • Use of measuring instruments.

  • Knowledge of quality standards: ISO 9001, IATF 16949.

  • Statistical Process Control: SPC, histograms, control charts, process capability.

  • Knowledge of control plans, inspection sheets, and acceptance/rejection criteria.

  • Software proficiency: Excel, ERP/MRP, QMS or MES systems.

  • Basic knowledge of metrology and calibration.
