About the Position:
We are looking for a Materials Management Coordinator to join the Electronic Systems Supply Chain & Logistics team, reporting directly to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager.
This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
As the Materials Management Coordinator at Marelli, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the purchasing, storage, and distribution of materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for efficient operations. This role ensures optimal inventory levels, adherence to quality standards, and cost-effectiveness while supporting organizational goals and objectives.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure availability of materials and supplies. Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies. Implement and optimize inventory control systems to minimize wastage and backorders.
- Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials. Collaborate with transportation providers to optimize shipping and delivery schedules. Oversee the management of warehouse space and equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare regular reports on inventory levels. Analyze data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make recommendations for improvements. Implement and monitor KPIs related to materials management functions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with internal departments, such as production, sales, and finance, to understand their materials needs and align inventory levels accordingly. Provide training and support to staff involved in materials management processes. Address and resolve any issues related to materials shortages or overstocking.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.

- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
