About the Position:
We are looking for an experienced System Engineer who will be mainly responsible for managing all the activities related to System Engineering and product development for but not limited to Nissan/RNM projects (Clusters, Silver-box, Displays & other automotive ECU’s)
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Act as technical interface internally and with customers for various development/maintenance projects
- Ensure technical interface with the project stakeholders (customer, MM manufacturing…), collecting stakeholders specifications and queries, and addressing them to the concerned areas (Architecture, Software Design, Software Architecture, Product Engineering, System Integration, System Validation…).
- Ensuring all customer/stakeholder requirements are analyzed and if any clarification to be discussed with customers until resolution.
- Co-ordinate and lead system, SW & validation activities with global distributed teams.
- Act as system lead for key projects with close sync-up with customers/stakeholders and cross-functional and global development teams.
- Monitor the status of Customer Requirements elicitation and System Requirements engineering activities, including traceability at Customer Requirements, System Requirements and Main Features levels.
- Track requirements changes and collect the related impact / feasibility analysis and effort / cost estimations in order to share them during the Change Control Board meeting.
- Manage customer and internal stakeholders’ escalations along with Technical project Lead/PM.
- Ensure the System Deliverables are on time and good Quality objectives.
- Contribute on improvement programs (Quality System, ASPICE)
- Support for systems efforts estimation and technical reviews during RFI/RFQ phase
- Support System defects analysis, using different methodologies (e.g. Fault Tree Analysis – FTA).
- Represent system in technical reviews and workshops with customers and partners.
- Report the status, issues and progress with respect to his/her activities and deliverables to the System engineering leader, maintaining project-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of embedded product development experience in automotive ECU programs (clusters, Silver-box preferred)
- Prior work experience on Japanese (Nissan preferred) OEM’s product/project development as System Engineer/Lead or Technical lead.
- Preferred to have good knowledge for Nissan processes, standard, documentations (like Spec Tender, PDS, DCH, DQS, JQTA, PDCT, Dnote, etc.,)
- Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, Ethernet, UDS, LVDS).
- Knowledge of software development standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262).
- Automotive industrialization rules & manufacturing processes (End Of line, product calibrations)
- Requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS)
- Architecture modeling methodologies and tools (Enterprise Architect and Simulink tools, UML and SYSML languages)
- Experience with HMI tools like Altia, Kanzi, CGI Studio, QT, etc.,
- Knowledge of Automotive technical, environmental and homologation standards (JASO, ISO, ECE, etc.)
- Knowledge of Network & Diagnostic Protocols (CAN in particular, but also LIN and KW2000/UDS Standards)
- Knowledge of Vector CANoe & CANalyzer
- Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence tools)
- Analytic tools (APIS IQ) and methodologies (e.g. FMEA, FTA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
