About the Position:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Planning Supervisor to join the Electronic Systems Supply Chain & Logistics team, reporting directly to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
 

As the Supply Chain Planning Supervisor at Marelli, you will be responsible for  coordinating and overseeing supply chain planning processes to ensure an efficient flow of materials and finished products. This role manages the planning team, collaborates closely with internal departments (purchasing, production, logistics, engineering, and sales), and ensures compliance with internal policies while aiming to optimize inventory levels and guarantee timely delivery to customers. 

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Supervise and lead the team of materials and production planners.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor supply plans to fulfill both internal and external customer demand.
  • Analyze demand forecasts and coordinate with sales, production, and engineering teams to align production and procurement plans.
  • Optimize inventory levels to prevent overstock and shortages.
  • Ensure achievement of key supply chain KPIs (On Time Delivery, Inventory Turns, Forecast Accuracy, etc.).
  • Generate planning reports and present performance results to management.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and lead projects to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Manage communication and problem resolution with internal and external suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Marelli’s quality standards.
  • Support internal and external audits related to supply chain processes.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in similar roles, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of planning systems (SAP).
  • Strong data analysis skills (Advanced Excel).
  • Intermediate to advanced English (required).
  • Results-oriented, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
