About the Position:
We are looking for an Automotive Android Architect
This position is based at our office in Bangalore.
Your Responsibilities will be:
Job Summary:
As a Software Architect, you will design and develop sophisticated system architectures for Android-based infotainment platforms. Your role will involve harmonizing the functionality between the user-friendly Android applications and the robust Linux-based systems that support them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design:
- Lead the design and architecture of Android-based infotainment solutions that provide cutting-edge user experiences.
- Ensure smooth integration of Android and Linux components within the system architecture.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable architecture solutions.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams focusing on Android software and Linux system development.
- Keep abreast of the latest technologies and methodologies in Android and Linux ecosystems.
- Drive innovations by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance product performance and user experience.
- Development and Integration:
- Oversee the implementation of Android platform features, ensuring high performance and UX.
- Collaborate with Linux development teams to enhance platform reliability and scalability.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement strategies for testing to ensure robustness and performance consistency.
- Lead troubleshooting and debugging efforts to resolve complex architectural issues.
- Project Management:
- Coordinate with project managers to align on timelines and deliverables.
- Contribute to planning and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in software architecture with a focus on Android development.
- Strong expertise in designing and integrating Linux-based systems.
- Deep understanding of automotive infotainment technologies and ecosystems.
- Experience with communication and connectivity protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under dynamic conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Prior experience in the automotive technology industry is a strong advantage.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN bus or MOST.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and automotive hardware design.
