About the Position:
We are seeking a hands-on and delivery‑oriented Manager to lead cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and open‑source governance activities. The role is responsible for operational execution, team coordination, and platform reliability across AWS, open‑source infrastructure, and DevOps toolchains, ensuring compliance with Marelli IT, security, and quality standards (e.g. IATF, TISAX).
This role translates defined strategy into execution, manages day‑to‑day operations, and ensures consistent delivery through internal teams and external suppliers.
This position is based at our office in Bengaluru, India.
Your Responsibilities will be:
Delivery & Operational Management
- Plan and execute cloud and DevOps initiatives aligned to approved roadmaps.
- Own delivery scope, timelines, dependencies, and operational KPIs.
- Coordinate daily activities across internal teams and suppliers.
- Ensure service stability, availability, and performance of platforms.
Cloud & Infrastructure Management
- Manage AWS and OpenStack environments, including upgrades, capacity, and lifecycle activities.
- Ensure infrastructure meets security, availability, and cost-efficiency targets.
- Drive infrastructure standardization and automation.
- Support disaster recovery and operational resilience activities.
DevOps & Toolchain Management
- Operate and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Manage and support ALM and DevOps tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Bamboo, Artifactory, Mulesoft).
- Promote automation, standard processes, and developer enablement.
- Ensure tool usage complies with governance and security standards.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Maintain operational documentation and audit evidence for IATF and TISAX.
- Enforce open‑source governance, security, and licensing policies.
- Identify operational risks and drive mitigation actions.
- Support vulnerability remediation and access governance.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, coach, and develop engineers and technical specialists.
- Set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and support skill development.
- Act as operational interface to business stakeholders and IT peers.
- Provide regular delivery status, metrics, and issue escalation.
Supplier Coordination
- Manage supplier deliveries against SLAs and contractual commitments.
- Support vendor assessments and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure suppliers comply with Marelli technical and governance standards.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- 8–10+ years in cloud infrastructure, Linux, or DevOps roles.
- Proven experience managing technical teams and operational delivery.
- Hands‑on AWS infrastructure experience.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.
- Exposure to IATF, TISAX, or similar compliance frameworks.
- Strong operational understanding of cloud and DevOps practices.
- Practical knowledge of AWS and open‑source technologies.
- Networking, security, firewall, proxy, and DR fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and structured operational planning.
- Ability to balance hands‑on work with team leadership.
- Clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- AWS, DevOps, or Agile certifications.
- Automotive or manufacturing industry experience.
- Exposure to hybrid cloud or container platforms (e.g. Kubernetes).
