Your Responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for RFI RFQ activities that involve hardware key component selection and BOM cost estimation and implementation of critical requirements.
- Responsible for HW architecture finalization, Component selection, Schematic, BOM finalization, DFMEA, FTA and layout development of the product (Engine managment system, Transmission control Unit)
- Participate to competitor analysis activity transferring best design practices to internal team.
- Monitors technology trends on HW functionalities, comparing proposals from different vendors and supporting product marketing analysis.
- Conduct and own hardware design reviews with internal team, supplier, and experts.
- Support the Functional Safety Team in the HW technical safety concept definition.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Must have in depth understanding of Engine management system/Transmission control Unit.
- Must aware about Complete functionality of ICE engine
- list various design specifications for each component of the engine ECU.
- Experience on product development and industrialization for the overall life cycle (from RFQ to Production follow up)
- Functional Safety standard and design rules (ISO 26262 or equivalent)
- Design experience of power supply components LDO, DC-DC converter, PMIC.
- Power Electronics (High Side Driver / Low side Driver selection, Motor Driver/H-Bridge) design understanding is must.
- Automotive ISO/JASO Electrical & EMC test standards knowledge with troubleshooting experience.
- In depth understanding Cadence Allegro Tool chain for schematic design and BOM release.
- Understanding of CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI Protocols.
- Technical leadership, Ability to work with multinational distributed teams.
- Problem solving attitude.
