About the Position:
Seasoned IT Site Administrator with 8 years of hands-on experience managing IT infrastructure and support for manufacturing and corporate environments. Experienced in maintaining site network reliability, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, and delivering outstanding technical support to users at all levels. Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement global Marelli IT standards and drive technology-enabled operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- IT infrastructure management (servers, networks, endpoints)
- User support & troubleshooting (hardware, software, peripherals)
- Extensive knowledge in Hardware troubleshooting mainly Laptops and Desktops
- Efficiency in using service desk tools
- Expertise in managing high priority incidents such as P0, P1 and P2
- Basics of LAN, WAN, DHCP, AD, DNS, End client Security tools
- Deep knowledge on raising tickets with suppliers such as Airtel, Reliance, TATA communications
- Basic knowledge in Opex and Capex proposals, spend tracker.
- Managing, Projectors and Cisco, Polycom VC unit, periodic testing and follow up with team responsible if issues found until resolution.
- Ability to handle multiple VIP customers’ requests
- Experience managing large IT environment consisting of but not limited to HP and Cisco servers hardware related issues.
- Cybersecurity safeguards & compliance
- System and data backup operations
- IT asset inventory & lifecycle management
- Software deployment & patch management
- Vendor and contractor coordination
- Documentation & reporting
Availability:
Full-time / Weekend support, sometime extra hours and late-night stays during emergencies.
What Qualifications you will bring:
Technical Skills:
- Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory
- Basic Network configuration
- Cybersecurity tools and protocols
- Office 365 administration
- Service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA)
- Backup and recovery solutions
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma, or any Information Technology related degrees, BE, BCA, MCA, BCom
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CCNA-desirable
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Basics of Linux and Unix desirable
