About the Position:
We are looking for a Controls Engineer to join the Propulsion Algorithms Development team, reporting directly to the Algorithms Development Manager.
This position is based at our office in Bologna.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Support the Function Reference in requirements’ analysis and definition
- Support the Function Reference in innovative solutions’ development
- Support the Functional Architect in software components features’ mapping
- Design Control Algorithm according to Requirements
- Design the unit test specification referred to the control algorithm
- Issue the software component design descriptions
- Implement Software Modules according to Control Design with autocode tools
- Execute unit tests of software modules according to unit test specifications and issues software unit test reports (MIL, SIL and HIL)
- Achieve software module formal quality targets defined in project software quality plan
- Maintain and improve effectiveness, reliability and efficiency of the function under responsibility
- Promote and maximize the re-use of standard solutions
- Assure the respect of the team’s plan and supports the Function Reference in finding and solving plan’s issues
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of:
- Matlab-Simulink-Stateflow and Targetlink
- Requirement Management
- Model Based Control design
- Auto Code Software design (Assisted Code Generation tools and techniques)
- C Programming language
- Software unit testing
- Configuration Management tools and techniques
- Change Management tools and techniques
- WINDOWS operating system user commands
- Microsoft Office applications
- Good knowledge of electric machines and internal combustion engines and their operations
- Knowledge of power electronics products and its operation
- Understanding of calibration activities and methodologies
