About the Position:
We are looking for a Quality Coordinator. This position is based at our office in Cabo de Santo Agostinho/PE.
This leadership position involves strategic and tactical oversight of quality assurance activities, including the analysis and resolution of product complaints, the execution of product audits, and the management of non-conforming parts. This position will possess a blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and a continuous improvement mindset, functioning as a pivotal player in upholding Marelli’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities will be:
Strategic Quality Assurance Leadership: Lead a specialized team in the thorough analysis and reporting of product complaints, collaborating with quality assurance, quality control, and product development to proactively identify, resolve, and prevent quality issues.
Audit Management and Coordination: Oversee the strategic planning and execution of product audits according to Marelli’s internal standards. Drive firewall establishment and auditing initiatives, promoting the adoption and continuous improvement of quality tools and documentation (such as QA-matrix, QA-Network).
Quality Training and Documentation: Manage the creation and updating of essential quality documentation and deliver comprehensive training programs, ensuring staff proficiency in current quality specifications and procedures.
Non-Conforming Parts Resolution: Administer robust processes for managing non-conforming parts and components, ensuring rigorous compliance with Marelli’s internal procedures and quality standards.
Product Testing and Compliance: Guide the planning and execution of product testing phases, including CoP rules, control plans, customer requirements, and re-validation specifications. Oversee the monitoring of test results and facilitate clear communication and escalation of non-conformities.
Launch Phase and Continuous Validation: Lead quality assurance during product launch phases, including validation of part dimensions, gauge R&R, and reliability of automatic controls. Ensure continuous testing and inspection are aligned with control plans and customer expectations.
Inspection and External Coordination: Define inspection requirements with customers and ensure meticulous follow-up throughout product lifecycles. Manage relationships with external laboratories to support Marelli’s quality assurance needs.
What Qualifications you will bring:

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are preferred.

Minimum Experience: 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing quality management, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Skills: Strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and robust knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in data analysis and experience with quality software tools are essential.

Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar are preferred.
