About the Position:

We are looking for a Software Architect to join our office in Corbetta (MI).

The SWA is responsible for defining the SW Requirements and the SW Architecture (High Level) reporting to the Function Leader Architecture in the Product Line.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Acts as SW Architecture Leader (SWAL) on platform projects, proof of concepts and acquisitions
  • Defines the project SW Architecture cooperating with the Software Function Architects 
  • Define and maintain Software Architecture and Software Architecture Plan
  • Support and guide Integration team and Project team in the definition of Product Repositories, Sw Lines and Branching/Merging strategies and roadmaps
  • Performs SW Safety analysis (e.g. Software FMEA, SW FTA) to discover potential failures that may exist within the software architectural design of a product for compliance to ISO26262 norm
  • Cooperate and Review HSI with System and HW Architecture team
  • Cooperate with System Team and Vendors defining Roadmap for Architecture implementation, integration and updates
  • Cooperate with System Architect team to define the Resource Allocation and constraints

Other Requests: Willing to short business trips in mainly Italy and Europe, rarely Worldwide.

 

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Requirements management tools knowledge (e.g. DOORS)
  • Architecture modeling methodologies and tools
  • (Analytic tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA, FTA) )
  • Capability to effectively design and use multicore microcontroller architectures
  • Product Development Standard Processes (PDH)
  • Quality System knowledge
  • Software Design
  • Functional Safety standard and design rules (ISO 26262) knowledge
  • Real Time OS: classic AUTOSAR
  • Additional experience in adaptive AUTOSAR, Free RTOS, Zephyr
  • Performance Assessment and Evaluation

Language Skills

  • Advanced written and spoken English

  • French or German is nice to have

Technical background required:

  • Several years of experience in Body Control Modules and Zone Control Units
  • Network interfaces like Automotive Ethernet, CAN, LIN
  • Power Management
  • Power Distribution
  • Experience with Diagnostic, Debug, Logging and Calibration Protocols
  • Experience in Security implementations
  • Experience with SW Update and OTA

Education & Former Experience

  • Electronic Engineering Degree, Information Science Degree.
  • Experience on SW product development for the overall life cycle (from RFQ phase to Production follow up).
  • More than 8 years-experience of embedded real time electronic product development with high level of SW contents.
  • The above competences have to be maturated in automotive area or other large-scale markets.
