About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Manufacturing Planning coordinator to join the Electronics team, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineering & Processes.

 

This position is based at our office in Corbetta.
 

As the Manufacturing Planning coordinator at Marelli, you will be responsible to coordinate the local Plant Manufacturing planning/production planning & control/work analysis of the Electronics by ensuring the application of common worldwide standards related to the hourly manpower management, cycle time analysis and production performances measurement and improvement.

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Spread amongst the plants the common standards of the Work Analysis by verifying locally the right understanding and application and ensuring their alignment to the Manufacturing guidelines.
  • Guarantee the proper level of expertise inside the plants on the Work Analysis topics
  • Establish a homogeneous set of KPI’s to measure the production performances and engage the plants in the regular monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • Support the plants in the preparation of the budget, forecast and 5 years plan (ensuring the compliance to the Electronics overall targets and roadmap.
  • Promote internal benchmark among the plants by the exchange of the best experiences and transforming the plant Best Practices into common standards for all Electronics plants

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Degree in Engineering or relevant experience     
  • Fluent English  
  • Knowledge and experience in time and motion study through MTM UAS system
  • Deep knowledge of the Lean Manufacturing logics
  • Competence in Microsoft Office with excellent knowledge in Excel       
  • Highly target oriented
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills in a worldwide working environment
  • Being open to propose and drive pragmatic solutions under given constraints of time and cost
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Team player
  • Availability to business travels
