About the Position:

 

We are looking for a PCN / PTN Technical Coordinator to join the Electronics team, reporting directly to the ELS Components Continuity Management.
 

This position is based at our office in Cluj-Napoca.

 

The Product Change Notification (PCN) and Product Termination Notification (PTN) Technical coordinator is part of the Component Continuity Team and he/she directly reports to Component Continuity Manager.

 

As part of PCN working group, he/she participates to the severity evaluation of the component supplier notifications and coordinate with the Project team the modification needed from PCN consequence.

 

As part of PTN working group, he/she evaluates alternative proposal and coordinate with the Project Team the alternative introduction (alternative component or Redesign).

 

Both for PCN and PTN, he/she has to coordinate with the Project Team and Sales Team the LBO or Bridge stock needed in case no alternative can be found.

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Receive the component supplier notifications in order to manage the PCN and PTN for the Electronics BU (Cockpit, Cluster, Body Computer, Telematics, Displays).
  • Collect the PCN and PTN notifications and prioritize them based on the component volumes, the number of project involved, the cost and the timing.
  • Inform the Electronics Project team about the PCN and PTN received to guarantee the evaluation on time of alternative.
  • In case of no alternative possible from Project Management, then create LBO / Bridge Stock template and collect data from Sales and Project Manager.
  • Cooperate with the Supply Chain team to manage the LBO or Bridge stock on time to guarantee the production of the Electronics ECUs.
  • Collect all answers in PCN / PTN follow up (JIRA).
  • Report all results to the InterBusiness PCN PTN Coordinator.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Electronic Engineering Degree
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Other not mother languages, nice to have
  • 5-10 years’ experience in Technical or project Management fields
  • Experienced in planning, monitoring, and control activities 
  • Master the PCN / PTN process and PLM Tool (Team Center)
  • Marelli’s product portfolio knowledge
  • Development process knowledge
  • Process management efficiency
  • Computer skills: Office, Marelli tools (Intesa, Claim Management portal, JIRA, TeamCenter, APQP ……etc)
  • Ability to work with multinational distributed teams
  • Suppliers management
  • Monitoring & Control
  • Problem solving attitude
